Mermaid - ArtbyBarb

This is the 2nd card I made this week.
I wanted to try out parchment crafting. Need to use a magnifying glass though I think.
I have used moonlight mermaid image by Artbybarb.

The sand dollar, sea shell and starfish were drawn freehand and then embossed perforated and cut using parchment/pergamano tools. The image colored/tinted a bit using copics.

Circus

Made a couple of cards and enjoyed playing with my craft supplies.
This one is a card for Scrappers Delight FB september challenge.
I have used the image circus tipsy tervy which is a freebie if you have played with the previous image and posted on previous challenge (rules are found in their facebook group)

I printed the image on a free background. The circus tent and the ticket and word die cut are all cut using cricut explore. the word and ticket wee all cut on white cardstock and then colored using copics as I did not feel like loading cutting mat many times for each layer. I gave the girl a clown look so decided to leave her face white and give her a clownish nose and cheeks.

I have colored the image using copic markers. And also added a bit of acrylic paint for white foam of the sea. The sentiment stamp and the die cuts are from heartfelt creations - everyday hero set.

Kit and Clowder Coloring challenge - Ching Chou Kuik

Colored and made a card for the challenge at Kit and Clowder group coloring challenge.
The image is by Ching Chou Kuik and is available at etsy and called Autumn in Far North

I have used dies by memory box, Poppy stamps and Tattered lace . The sentiment is Marianne stamp.

Image colored using copics. I have added Martha Stewart glitter for snow on branches and leaves and edges of the cardstocks. The blue enamel dot is made by melting perler beads. I have added glitter to it too to blend in .

Missing a bunch of blogger posts

Missing a bunch of blogger posts.
Thankfully had a copy on other blog so was able to copy and paste here with schedule changed to the original post.  Now it is caught up. I think it is a good idea to have a duplicate editing blog where you post in case such things happen. Or you can always post back recovering from your email if you have feed I guess.

Passionate Paper Creations Coloring Challenge

Made a card for PPC coloring challenge a FB.

Like the color of the hair but I guess I need to clean the Copic markers a bit.

Colored with Copics and the gold is deco art paint marker.
Played with dies.
Gatefold Heartfelt Creations. White doily - cheery lynn and the front sentiment tag and stamp is Marianne .
Added a bit of doodling to the front of the card.

Flower Nap

Here is another image from ArtbyBarb colored up.
Wasn't happy with the coloring though so will try again after a while.
I am having problems with hair because of blurry vision. Also with color going out of the lines.
But anyway I am having fun coloring.
